Native English speaker Wanted

  • Dear all,
  • I know there are lots of native english speakers in Jordan who want to learn arabic.
  • I am looking for a female native english speaker to teach me and my wife english, in return we can teach arabic. You can stay at our home as a part of our family.
  • I am specificly looking for a female because I am sometimes working at night and in Jordanien culture its not common to have a man staying home alone with a woman.
  • I also have two very entertaining kids who I would love to learn some english too.
  • You can stay one month, six month or one year - whatsoever your plans are. I can arrange transportation, there is internet available, you get free accomodation and food.
  • Please write me a message if you are interested or know somebody who would be able to do this.

Wadi Wieda`a Clean up

Welcome to the Dead Sea coast - an area full of life

William Alajalian I created this blog to collect and spread all the information I have about my home - the Dead Sea area. I was born and still live in the small village Ghor al-Mazra’a just on the Jordan coast of the Dead Sea. While hosting friends from all over the world, I realised that the region has much more to offer than the few things listed in the guidebooks. So this is my humble attempt to tell you about the natural beauty, the cultural richness and the local community with its distinct habits and lifestyle.
